We had a great time at Guest House for a week. It was super relaxing in the woods with lots of deer, chipmunks, and birds. Easy walk to the city. Great accommodations. An A++++

Dear Jennifer, we are so glad we found you and your wonderful cottage for our first family vacation with our new son!

We had a wonderful week here at the Guest House. Through all of the fun, the cottage was lovely to come home to each night and watch the deer graze in the yard.

After one week, the Guest House seems more like home to me than my real home! This place is the best, it's clean, cozy, quiet, well appointed- perfect. I loved going down to Compass Cove each day. The location of the Guest House couldn't be better. It's great to be able to walk to town. Thank you for such a wonderful week. It was lovely to meet you and Adam and the kids. See you again (soon, I hope).

Our stay here was wonderful. The cottage was much nicer than I had expected. It was so cute and cozy. A quite, private setting but still close to all the in town happenings of Bar Harbor. We saw deer and could hear an owl at night. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely cottage, perfect location, very comfortable and homey. Compass Cove was fun- love the rocks and the pools. The history of the area makes it all the more intriguing. I could easily spend another week and not run out of things to do. We completely enjoyed our week here- thank you for helping us celebrate our anniversary.

I chose this house based on price. It looked clean and rustic and I loved that it had walking paths to the hidden beaches and was close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. There were many pluses! Upon my arrival the house was clean and roomy, wonderful beds and sheets that were soft and warm on cold nights. Location- it was incredible to walk to hose hidden coves and have them to myself! I loved it. And the deer and fox right outside were amazing. I liked Mountain Sea Properties friendliness, professionalism and donations to wonderful causes. There was a huge file on places to go and Jen was great to work with. I really loved my stay and will be back.

Everything was as good or better than expected. This was the perfect private getaway for us- days hiking Acadia and nights in a cozy quite cottage in the woods. Nature lovers can keep an eye out for the deer, raccoon, and fox that we saw out our back door.

We had a terrific fun filled week. This cottage offers a perfect home base for exploring Acadia, Bar Harbor and other harbors. The house was very well supplied and the booking process was easy and smooth. Hope to return.

We had one of our best vacations ever. We took every advantage of Acadia National Park- biking, hiking, boating and many ranger led events and talks. This cottage was perfect for our family of hour. Cozy, quiet and the perfect location- we would love to return.

Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable cottage. Great location! Frequent visits by very tame white tailed deer. We had an excellent week and look forward to returning.

This has been a wonderful stay. I really like it here and look forward to coming back. The beds were really comfortable and it was nice to know that me and my family wouldn't have to come back to a hotel room. You really know how to make a guest feel at home.

Jen, thanks for everything! The area information was terrific and made it easier to decide what to do everyday. The restaurant quest was wonderful too! The house had everything the four of us needed, even a tool kit. We hated to leave your beautiful state. The mountains, lakes, ocean, views were out of this world! Thanks again. We will be back.

Its tough to sum up how well this house, its location and nature works with our group. Nice to see a 10 point buck and does and fawns at the house. Nice clean home with all the basics. Quiet sleeping with enough mountains to hike.

Perfect location! Saw a 10 point buck and a huge wild turkey right outside the cottage. Loved the walking paths that lead right to Compass Cove. Had a wonderful time.

I want to thank you so much for setting us up with a great vacation house. The location was perfect. But the biggest thing my husband noticed was how clean it was. It was nice to be able to cook and have a place to call home for a week. Well after staying at your place, my husband cannot believe some of the places we have settled for!!! It was soooo clean. What a beautiful setting for a vacation. Short hike and we were at the ocean. Another short walk and we were at the best ice cream spot.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful, amazing home to stay in during our trip to Bar Harbor! We felt instantly at home the minute we arrived. Everything was comfortable, cozy and so clean! We had so much fun exploring the trails right around the house too. One morning, over coffee, we were visited by two beautiful deer right outside. We can’t thank you enough for providing such a wonderful cozy and comfortable house where we enjoyed our vacation. We'll surely be back!

After spending the day exploring, it was nice to return to the cottage, a cup of tea, and a comfortable bed — made even better by the flannel sheets on a cool night.
